Medicine (5-year MBChB)
Manchester Medical School produces highly-competent and well-rounded junior doctors, scholars and scientists. It is the largest medical school in the UK with over 2150 undergraduate medical students.
A wide variety of teaching and learning methods are used but the key Manchester approach is the study of clinical cases in small groups. This is supported throughout the course by lectures, practical classes (including anatomy dissection) and clinical experience.
The course integrates science and clinical learning so you are able to apply scientific knowledge and concepts to your clinical practice.
